Dudesti Culture

The Dudesti Civilization (around fifth millennium B.C.) is the most ancient Neolithic culture known in the southern part of Muntenia. The people of Dudesti usedto breed animals,ro farm, to hunt, to harvest.The ceramic of this period is decorated with fine pleats and incisions, and less often excisions.Around Oltenita, settlements belonging of this period were found and researched in the communes Radovanu, Popesti, Vasilati and Cascioarele.

Program: Monday-Friday 8 a.m. - 16 p.m.

Entrance fee: General entrance: 2 lei;
Discounted tickets (for seniors, students and children): 1 leu.

Photographed items: - Individuals 20 lei - Corporations 100 lei.
Guide for groups 1-10 people 10 lei, more then 10 people 20 lei.
